MEN'S DISCIPLESHIP GROUP
In Summer/Fall 2025, men from Risen are gathering weekly to learn how to counsel biblically and be God’s instruments of transformation in the lives of their brothers and sisters in Christ! This is a 12-week discipleship group going through Paul David Tripp's book, “Instruments in The Redeemer’s Hands”.

WOMEN'S DISCIPLESHIP GROUP: INSTRUMENTS IN THE REDEEMER'S HANDS
The Women's Discipleship Group is going through a series based on Paul David Tripp’s Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands. This study aims to provide practical, biblical tools to understand and facilitate genuine change, equipping ordinary women to be God's instruments in caring for sisters and bringing about meaningful transformation. Join us to learn how to help, care, and love others towards spiritual growth–and ultimately in their relationship with Jesus.

EVANGELISM TRAINING GROUP
Jesus mandates all his followers to "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). Sign up if you are interested in a training group to help us become more equipped and emboldened to pursue those who don't know him! Pastor Rich will do an inductive group evangelism training study through Becky Pippert's Winner of Evangelism & Apologetics Book, "Stay Salt." The goal is to do a Seekers Bible Study following the Evangelism Training Group. ​
WOMEN'S 1 PETER STUDY
Risen's Women's ministry is wrapping up their 1 Peter study for spring 2025. This study was based on Jen Wilkin's book, "1 Peter: A Living Hope in Christ". The Women's Ministry regularly hosts bible studies and discipleship groups such as this one for the purpose of fellowship and giving women at Risen the opportunity to grow as disciples together.

FOUNDATIONS OF CHRISTIAN FAITH & LEADERSHIP TRAINING
Risen offers annual courses in the foundations of the Christian faith for anyone who is seeking to deepen their understanding of the core tenants of Christianity. This foundations class also serves as a prerequisite for our Leadership Training course, offered to those who are aspiring to official leadership roles at our church.

PARENTING SEMINARS
In 2024, we hosted a parenting seminar going through Phil and Diane Comer's "Intentional Parenting" curriculum. The goal of Intentional is to "bring hope and help to parents all over the world in their God-given task of raising Passionate Jesus Followers". See the Intentional website here.​
WOMEN'S DISCIPLESHIP GROUP: MASTER'S PLAN OF EVANGELISM
Risen's Women's Ministry hosted a discipleship group in 2024 going through Robert Coleman's famous book, "The Master Plan of Evangelism". This book presents a study on Jesus' methods of evangelism in the New Testament, and provides actionable guidance to follow in his footsteps. PRACTICING THE WAY
In 2024, we hosted a discipleship group going through John Mark Comer's book, "Practicing The Way". The book has an accompanying workbook and online curriculum that is designed for groups to develop spiritual rhythms in the context of Christian community. Visit the PTW website to learn more. ​
