Once you arrive at California Crosspoint Academy, do not go through the front doors. Instead, you'll be directed to drive through the open gate to park on the right side of the school. Once parked, walk towards the building – look for the "Welcome" and "Risen" signs. As you get closer, a Connections team member will greet you! We encourage you to stick around after service so we can have a chance to get to know you.
WHAT IS SERVICE LIKE?
Sundays at Risen are about Christ and community. Christ is central and all are welcome. In each service, we sing songs of worship, meet and greet one another, listen to a sermon preached from the Bible, and take part in communion. There’s no need to dress up and kids and babies are more than welcome. Stay after service to hang out with us in the lobby and enjoy some coffee and snacks!
IS THERE A CRY ROOM?
We have a Quiet Room located in the same hallway as our Nursery and kids classrooms, where we livestream the service for families with newborns. That way, if your baby is talkative or is fussy, you can still participate in worship.
WHERE DO I DROP OFF MY KIDS?
RisenKids ministry is excited to welcome your children! We have a RisenKids Check In Station where you'll be able to provide information about your child in regards to name, age, allergies, and parent contact information. If you have a child that is 0 - 2 years old, we have a Nursery where your babies will enjoy a circle time with a bible storybook and song. Children that are 2 and older, will join you for the first half of worship and then get dismissed during announcements for Sunday school. 2-4 year olds go to the Toddler-Preschool class, and 4-11 year olds go to our PreK/K-Elem Class. You are more than welcome to follow your child to where Sunday school is to drop them off. After service ends, you can come by to pick up your child at the same place you dropped them off.
