FAQs
Can I still go through the front door of CCA?
Please do not go through the front door of CCA to get to our new worship space. Instead, follow the green arrows on the site map to go through the pedestrian gate or the parking gate to the right of CCA's main entrance.

Will communion be different in the new space?
When we take communion in the new space, we will get up from our chairs and walk to one of two tables stationed at the front of the sanctuary. A leader will present the elements to you, consisting of wine in an open cup, and a small piece of unleavened bread. Bread is not gluten free. There is a non-alcoholic white-grape juice option.

Will more volunteers be needed to setup and teardown the space each Sunday?
Yes! The more hands we have, the easier it will be to setup and teardown our new place of worship each week. If you'd like to join setup, you can arrive at 8am Sunday morning. If you'd like to join teardown, simply stick around after service and ask how you can help. Contact Tony Yang if you're interested in joining the Sunday Ops Team.

Where will after-church meetings be held?
Larger meetings such as member meetings will be held in the CEC. Smaller meetings will be held in the children's classrooms in the main building (see pink labels on the Site Map). Childcare for meetings will also be in the children's classrooms.

How many people can fit in the CEC?
The CEC can comfortably seat around 350 people.

Where will my kids go?
Children will join adults for worship during the first portion of service, and will be dismissed at the beginning of announcements. Children are checked in at the pink dot in the Site Map above, and each kids classroom is identified in the site map as well, labeled in pink.

Will kids dismissal during service be different in the new space?
Kids dismissal will remain the same in the new space. For safety reasons, children will not be allowed to play outside of the sanctuary while their parents worship. Unless they are in the Nursery, children 2 and above are expected to attend the first portion of service along with their parents, until they are dismissed at the beginning of announcements.

What if my child needs to go to the bathroom during service?
On the map, you will see "Kids-ONLY bathroom" listed in room 109 (also the Quiet Room). During service, children in all classes who have toilet independence will be able to use the bathroom in room 109 (Toddler-Preschoolers will be walked over by a RisenKids Volunteer). Older children may also choose to walk down the hall to the "All-ages" restroom in the same building. Parents of children in the Nursery or Toddler-Preschool class will receive a pager at Check-In. If your toddler is not yet toilet independent, or your baby needs a diaper change, we will page you. Please review and/or opt-out of our bathroom policy here.

Where can I park my stroller?
Stroller parking is available in the Quiet Room (see room 109 on the Site Map), and in the Gym. You may also park your stroller outside as long as it does not impede walkways.
Where can my kids play after service?
Children may play outside at the playground/field or inside the gym. Children must be supervised.
