Sabbath is a Core Principle at Risen. We understand how hectic and busy our lives can be. But God calls us to stop and rest so that He can fill our cup. Therefore, Risen has made reservations for our church to unplug, get into nature, fellowship, and get spiritually nourished together.

Directions and Driving Directions

1. From US Highway 101 South or North, take the State Highway 12W exit to Sebastopol in Santa Rosa. Drive 7.6 miles until you come to the first stoplight in Sebastopol at State Highway 116 South. Highway 12 ends at the light and becomes Bodega Highway.

2. Go straight through the light on Bodega Highway and drive 5.7 miles to the Bohemian Highway intersection (Freestone-Occidental).

3. Turn right onto Bohemian Highway and drive 6.3 miles past the town of Occidental to the Alliance Redwoods entrance on the left: there is a large sign marking the entrance.

4. Turn left into the camp parking lot and park. Do not drive across the bridge. The office is located below the dinning hall. Please park all vehicles in the main parking lot or the gravel overflow lot. No vehicles may drive across the bridge unless given permission by the office.

  • Consider printing directions, as GPS signals can be blocked by the tall trees, and cell coverage is marginal.

  • We encourage carpooling to camp.

  • For those prone to car sickness, be aware that the roads to camp are curvy.
